Bella Cora is an auditioned choir as it is important to us that we retain our vocal blend.  We are welcoming to new members and if you are interested you are very welcome to come and sit in on a rehearsal, by arrangement, to see how we work. 

If you decide to audition, this involves singing a song of your choice, unaccompanied - this is both so that you can sing whatever you feel comfortable with and so that we can hear your natural voice. 

We do not include sight singing in the audition.  This is because , whilst we do use sheet music in rehearsals, our Musical Director takes a flexible approach which includes aural learning, and ultimately much of our repertoire is sung from memory.
